Mais que devient Daniel Torrès ? Éh bien, il a publié récemment un roman graphique mais il est difficile de savoir si ça vaut le détour – https://www.normaeditorial.com/ficha/comic-europeo/burbujas. Il faut dire que ces dernières années, avec la création d’un studio orienté animation, du moins c’est ce que j’ai cru comprendre, la signature Torrès était devenue très floue avec notamment des albums Roco Vargas catastrophiques. Du coup, il est très tentant de regarder dans le rétroviseur. Comme ce recueil d’histoires courtes dessinées entre 1988 et 1992. On retrouve avec plaisir la ligne claire dynamique de l’Espagnol mais je ne suis pas sûr d’avoir tout compris aux histoires vu mes lacunes en espagnol.
- Redlight Star – 10 pages – est un hommage aux comics réalisé pour un magazine féminin. Une jeune fille entre dans le milieu de la mode et lutte contre un mystérieux homme masqué qui ose barbouiller les affiches publicitaires.
- Heroes – 4 pages – voit un super héros dont le costume rouge n’est pas sans évoquer l’attribut sexuel masculin lutter contre des méchantes dominatrices. Il y perdra les boules. Hum…
- Doble V – 7 pages – où un gentil père de famille enfin célibataire pour les vacances est tellement perdu dans ses fantasmes de film noir qu’il se retrouve derrière les barreaux.
- Amiga Mia – 6 pages – une variation sur les maisons hyperinformatisées, noire mais classique.
- La ronda en el baño turco – un peintre chargé de restaurer La ronde de nuit de Rambrandt voit débarquer sa gironde petite amie un soir dans le musée puis trois critiques/Rapetou prêt à faire péter ce temple de l’Art ancien et dépassé. Un joli délire.
- El jardin atomico – 5 pages – une histoire hallucinée sur la vie de tous les jours dans un univers transformé par les radiations nucléaires. Au lieu d’en faire une histoire post-apocalyptique, Torres montre juste une petite famille normale vivant dans un cauchemar surréaliste.
- Comunicando – 7 pages – des extra-terrestres trouvent que les Humains ont des problèmes de communication et décident d’intervenir sous la forme d’un gros téléphone noir dont les messages lancent le départ d’une grosse… partouze.
- Les estacion – 5 pages – des personnages témoignent après la mort d’une personne. Comme c’est uniquement basé sur les dialogues, je n’ai rien compris :-)

Sinon,dans la série l’Espagne me manque(Y aurait pas du LI AN chez Glénat-Espagne..?)je me languis de Federico del Barrio,magnifique.Josep M.Bea‘était également intéressant mais tout ça est si loin.

Je ne connaissais pas du tout Federico del Barrio. Fantômes blancs a été publié en espagnol (et italien).
