Constantine Rotova
Konstantin Rotov (1902 – 1959) est un illustrateur russe très influent à son époque et qui a principalement publié dans le magazine humoristique Krokodil . Il est arrêté en 1940, soupçonné d’espionnage en faveur des Allemands. On ressort un vieux dessin de 1934 considéré comme anti-soviétique qui lui vaut d’être envoyé en camp d’où il n’en sortira qu’en 1948 (la légende veut qu’il dessinait sur son pantalon, faute de papier). Il est réhabilité en 1954 (le dessin en question représentait un cheval efflanqué sur lequel étaient posés une ligne de petits oiseaux faisant la queue devant la queue de cheval, en attente de sortie de crottins à picorer, sur laquelle est accrochée une pancarte : ”Fermé pour le déjeuner”. Montré à Staline, le dessin l’aurait beaucoup fait rire. Il meurt en 1959, après qu’une paralysie du bras droit l’ait obligé à apprendre à dessiner de la main gauche.

Oui, j’aurais dû rajouter ce lien qui contient tous les billets du site consacrés à Rotova.
Je suis très fort en russe grâce à Google Translate :-) (si tu utilises Google Chrome ou Firefox, il est simple d’obtenir en un clic une traduction approximative d’une page).

Il suffit de prendre un coup d’oeil-ka, même ”l’oncle Stepa” avec la bouche là-dedans.

J’utilise aussi gogle translatov, mais c’est pas toujours aussi clair que le cyrillique.
